Overview

These terms apply to all enquiries and bookings for relief driving services provided by DriverCover ("we", "us", "our"). By making an enquiry or booking, the client ("you", "the client") agrees to be bound by these terms.

These terms apply as between DriverCover and business clients only. DriverCover does not provide services directly to consumers.

Operator client responsibilities

To engage our relief driving services, the client must:

Be a registered transport business or company incorporated in the Republic of Ireland or the United Kingdom;
Hold a valid and current Transport Operator's Licence relevant to the services requested;
Ensure the vehicle provided is fully roadworthy, taxed, and in possession of all correct documentation (including NCT/CVRT or equivalent, insurance certificate, and any required operator or vehicle licences); andThird item
Provide and maintain all insurance required in connection with the vehicle and the services (see Clause 6 — Insurance), together with all expenses incidental to the booking (fuel, tolls, parking, ferry costs and similar), unless otherwise agreed in writing.

For relief driving, the client must be a registered transport business/company in the Republic of Ireland or the UK and hold a relevant Transport Operator's licence. The vehicle must be fully roadworthy with correct documentation present, and all insurance and expenses are provided by the client.

Safety & compliance

Our driver carries out walk-around checks before driving. If serious defects deemed dangerous are found, the vehicle will not be taken on the road. Driver CPC hours and all applicable driving-time rules are strictly adhered to, without exception.

Bookings & pricing

Pricing is hourly with a minimum daily fee; weekends and out-of-hours work carry a premium, and additional expenses may apply. Quotes are confirmed on enquiry and invoices are issued weekly. Cancellation terms will be confirmed at the time of booking.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot lawfully be limited. You the client are responsable for all insurance in relation to the services. For the avoidance of doubt, our limiation of liability is set at €100 (one hundred euro only).
